Novels that have, unfortunately or fortunately, made me cry reading them.... more>>
The pattern you'll find is family/found family or death, whether by experience or through conversations. Conflicts related to family or things such as disappointment, rejection, or an overall heartfelt/heart wrenching topic is included. Deaths that happened because of how tragic it is, how unfair i perceived it to be, or the general situation of it is included.
I'll attempt to put stories including romance near the bottom since its usually a gamble if its found family.
There are novels that don't necessarily follow the above and are most related things like mental health or anguish. So they wont necessarily be found family/friendship in a way even if they have elements of it.
My shame(?) list
