Mergin was summoned thousands of years ago as a support member of the hero party to defeat the Demon King. Mergin possessed magical power and aptitude to the extent of being called a great sage, and about ten years after being summoned, he headed towards the Demon King’s subjugation as a member of the hero party.

However, immediately after Mergin, who was a support member, shot through the Demon King’s core, he was petrified by his comrades. The petrification was not lifted until thousands of years later.

And thus, Mergin began a new life in the world thousands of years later.

I think it's a very enjoyable work. (I don't know why the rating is low, maybe because it's still new)
To be honest, I would like to rate it higher, but unfortunately I can't rate it higher. (I will give this more than 5)

It's well-written and each episode is well worth reading. It also easy to read and interesting.

Really, everything is wonderful.

Some people may mistakenly think he is an overpowered character after reading the synopsis, but his amazing abilities are just an added bonus, and he solves most problems by guiding others through conversation.
His sense of being a common man with a hidden sense of superiority gives him a nice flavor.

The main character is really charming.
He's a bit of a bad boy, a kind man, a fatherly man, a wise man, and the characters are all charming in their own way. The main character, who doesn't seem to try too hard, is trying his best, which is great. The story is generally heartwarming, but there are serious parts that really hit home.

I highly recommend reading it.

As for the translation, overall is good. I have also bought the advanced chapters from the translator's site. Keep going translator-sama, nice work!
