High Quality BL (slightly more serious) reads set in modern/futuristic setting--or perhaps jumps between time through transmigration.  I try to include both known and unknown novels to give more diversity to the reading list. 

Things to note if you all come at me:

1. I have not read all the novels on this list YET. All read novels are on part 1 with the according reviews. I made this list so I could have something visual to look at when looking for good quality novels to read. I judge "good quality novels" by seeming reviews and ratings or perhaps the book has an interesting premise you don’t usually find.

2.  I look for a capable MC and a subjectively respectful ML, but that doesn’t necessarily mean every book I put here fits that requirement. Once again, there are always exceptions (for example, a brat ML with character development). 

3. I don't like looking at the rating of the novel when there are barely any reviews. Thus, I look at the reviews (which have completed more than 1/2 of the novel). If the reviews (even scarce) like it, it has potential. Thus, FME indicates that a novel has been added regardless of NU rating.  

PS -->The higher the expectations for a novel, the higher the stars (purely subjective, don't take it too seriously). Hence, "***, **, *."

PSS --> Though not fluff, there will be some Feel Good (have more of a plot) novels here. <<less

♡ well written female relationships, i don't mind if they have a complicated relationship with each other but it must be written in a way that's organic and not just bc they like the same man 

♡ slow burn but the kind that knows when to stop dragging it out

♡ doting family, i love that stuff. it gives me life reading fluffy family moments

♡ male leads that complement perfectly with the female lead. they don't have to be perfect but they just have to be good for each other <<less

just as the list name says. Main characters that actually push the plot forward and don't stall because of annoying cliches like misunderstandings, stubborn sub-villains, romantic love interest sub plot, emotional constipation, etc.... more>>

basically, avoid the cliches! down with bad writing! away with misunderstandings and dumb sub-plots that last 20 chapters!

I like novels with good plot, balanced couple, and MC and MC whose IQ is online. I personally don't like naive, weak MC and abusive, too overbearing ML. But I do like shameless, straight forward and mature couples. Dog food and fluff is also preferred.
