When other people experience a body transformation, it is inevitably either male to female or female to male.

Me? I wake up to find myself transformed into two different bodies.

Both a male body and a female body, one conscience operating two bodies, all sorts of embarrassing moments.

Walking together normally makes other people think that I am sweethearts with my other-self, such sadness.

Also, the entire business of a hero rescuing the beautiful maiden, I call Bull.

I get slashed by a sword and my female body gets abducted, and he wants me to thank him?!?! Can it be less of a tragedy?

The premise for this series is fairly unique. That being said, it seems as if the author loses sight of the characteristics that define the premise almost immediately.

Rather than spend time exploring the unique situation that protagonist is in, and show him come to terms with being a single mind in control of two separate bodies, the author dismisses the entire situation; the protagonist is able to overcome any potential difficulties instantly do to a convenient natural ability to simultaneously split his awareness. Additionally the two bodies are almost immediately... more>> separated, after which point the author begins developing them as distinct individual characters. The only time the author seems to remember the two bodies are actually a single personality is when it is convenient for the plot's progression.

The plot itself is illogical and rather broken. The author altogether ignores simple solutions to various conflicts in order to drive the story in a specific direction, often leaving those conflicts unsolved and forgotten. The result is a work that is more frustrating to read that it is enjoyable. <<less

Spoiler

The editor for this series constantly disrupts the story to interject an opinion that looks like a teenager’s AIM roleplay, or literally just to say, “Hi.” (Literally just that.) The plot is forced and full of holes, the dialogue is dry, and other than the basic premise of the plot it firmly locks itself into generic tropes. The initial logic and rules for the MC’s 2-body skill takes a total gainer to adopt a generic KYAAA situation where both sides of the consciousness suddenly act like two different people in order to force a mistaken pe*vert route whereby the MC’s male half gets framed as a rapist and attacked.

After 15 chapters the female half of the story, despite being the same person as the male half and MENTALLY MALE, has made no effort to correct the situation that caused the male half to be mistaken for a rapist. She’s a weak 1-dimensional sock puppet who exists solely to force a pe*vert route and be lead around by people that do all of her thinking for her while inserting exposition and backstory for everything. The male half is off doing his own training thing by a “coincidentally” met several-thousand years old crab demon... but basically doesn’t exist either. He’s rarely made any appearance and is now incredibly thick-headed. What Smart Male Lead? He’s an idiot. Only an idiot thinks that asking a knight that responded to a woman’s (your) scream for help for his sword so you can cut through her clothes isn’t an insane thing to do that will certainly cause a misunderstanding.

After the initial contrived plot it’s pretty boring. I don’t recommend it unless you’re a teenager with a limited attention span that lets every situation seem new and funny and the lack of plot seem like a sound foundation. The story is entirely contrived to force a pe*vert route by the most heavy handed of methods. The author isn’t going to justify it and you’ll be left wondering why the entire situation that got them in this mess was dropped like nothing happened.

@victicdin I think you are a bit harsh here...

TL or ED aren’t just some machine that exist for the sake of leechers who want to read novel. Even if it’s not your cup of tea without them this chapter wouldn’t be here. And please it’s a review so don’t spoil everything here or at least use a spoiler...

Lastly son' just casually put ppl that read this novel in the "teenager with limited attention span" category, calm down man.

Well then about the story, quite strange and hard to imagine.... more>> I mean hey did you already try to walk while playing a racing game on phone? Hard to turn on the game while trying to not IRL

Here this guy have to control 2 different body, even 2 different s*x.

At start it’s a bit strange then for the female part to be scared of the male part since there is only one mind controlling both...

Well after that we have some template things happening to both body but since the settings is like this maybe if the author make both body reuniting we will have some interesting things...

But I don’t think it will be the case soon even the MC don’t want this to happen...

5/5 for the original setting but 4/5 for how the author write it. <<less

Fun idea, poor start.... horrible start actually.

The first chapter alone is like an easter egg hunt of plot holes. the entire beginning is kicked off with a huge misunderstanding. which nevermind fixing, even after several opportunities to correct the situation for the best out come the MC still lets it slide as if being viewed as a rapist is no big deal, and the possibility of never reuniting with his other half is simply a minor issue.

tons of important world building points are spat out rapid fire as if they're... more>> just common sense terms and commonly found in the genre of writing. granted, they are, but if you expect me to believe the amnesiac MC has such knowledge I call bull.

televisions built from beast parts... random, out of character, completely nonsense yuri scene... human learning martial arts from a non humanoid character... fantasy characters in another world using modern internet and tech culture references... the plot holes go on and on at a basically non stop rate.

the potential fight scenes, MC has a sword on the cover so its no spoiler there is combat. I sh*t you not: The bear attacks, but now its dead. is literally the fight scene with the most writing in the story so far.

Lastly to the TL, I appreciate your work but the mid chapter comment gallery is super annoying <<less

This story has very original idea of main character having two bodies but a single mind. So far, story has been funny, and there has been even bit of yuri development. Also, a person who wrote previous review seems to have misunderstood that scene. Main character has a single mind in two bodies, so he/she would not work against oneself. When he was screaming about shame, he meant shame of wetting his female body. Clothes on female body got stuck, and he was trying to use both of his bodies... more>> to remove them. There is no 'male' or 'female' mind here, only a single male mind in two bodies. <<less

The idea's fun and more interesting than the usual reincarnation plot, but after 13 chapters the female body of the mentally male MC still does nothing to correct everyone's belief that his other body is a suspicious rapist, and it's such a tremendous loss of face that no one in any culture would tolerate it. Basically the characters behavior is insane due to the author failing to justify the plot.

Good novel. I already read so many of this stuff, that now its quite hard for me to find somethings more or less unique, and this novel has it.

Well, I also seen many, that had a good idea but very bad realisation. This novel has a rough start (plot-vise), but I see good potential in this story and there is currently over 500 chaps in chinese and still going, so we can expect that author improved through this work, a lot of very good stories and authors made it through... more>> this path.

So lets believe in author and support translators hard work for us, that gives us chance to travel this journey with novel's MC.

Im sorry for bad english, not my native, so pls deal with it. <<less

First of all, Thank you so much translators and editors of this novel. You guy release quickly and have stuck with translating the whole thing unlike most novels. (Please translate all and I'll love you forever!)

  1. Even though the grammar gets a little jumbled often and the population of the world and cities are ridiculous, it can be completely overlooked because this story has yet to become boring! Everything is interesting and exciting since the beginning even after so many chapters in. I don't think I've come across a novel that hasn't had boring parts! Its probably because it's two sides of the story and both tell the worlds history and background without everything awkwardly jumbled in one chunk of dialogue that isn't realistic for someone to say.
    Spoiler

For example, a huge chunk of background was the famous and legendary Lao jerry acting as a historic story telling during a huge event, like the halftime show of the Super Bowl lol

    [collapse]
And that each sides have their own little love triangles and small surprises each time the perspective switches.
I'm actually shocked by so many negative reviews on this novel!! Please give it a try until
Spoiler

You finish the ogre king part

[collapse]
and then judge the novel!

  1. Also I messed up and slipped my finger so I might have voted for 4 stars when I tried to put 5 : (
  2. Please give this novel a try everyone!!

People always seem to hate on it because of the amount of misunderstandings but I think in a world with such powerful beings where he doesn't remember anything and his own circumstances being special enough to garner the attention of such powerful beings, he made the right choice in not letting a single drop of information unconditionally slip.

He is just letting other's guesses of him/her create an impression of his two bodies, whether its good or bad, creating the least amount of loopholes in a place of which he knows... more>> nothing about surrounded by people who can kill him with a thought is the right choice.

This is the biggest reason why I like this novel, he will never let meaningless information slip which means he has a lot of secrets all to himself which he can use anyway anytime. Lots of trump cards. He can even fix all the misunderstandings with just a few simple words anytime he wants, but if he can do it anytime, he should take advantage of it for as long as he can.

The authors thoughts of this novel (his world building) seems really ambiguous so it feels like he's taking this rather seriously so I'm interested in reading this. I have high hopes. The novel is just getting started. There are 10 times more chapters already written in the raws, so it's still going to go on for a long time. And since the MC is both male and female I don't have to worry about romance, or there being another character whose growth and relationship with the MC that I have to keep worrying over... cause I naturally start shipping characters with people of their opposite gender in novels even if the novel is not a romance one, and that's annoying. But in this one I don't even worry. I just sometimes think it would be fun if his female self were to create a harem and then have her treat his male self with all her attention making everybody else jealous. lol <<less

Love the idea, but the execution so far has been poor. The author begins by exploring the concept of one person in two bodies, but essentially it doesn't matter a few chapters in, when the two of them are separated. At that point the initial hook is gone. After that...

Spoiler

The story essentially becomes a very generic "protagonist has massive inborn talent, and gets trained by the best of the best" but with both bodies; one in martial arts, and the other in magic. The protagonist doesn't have a very distinct personality, and none of the other characters stand out as much more than cardboard cutouts. At the point where I'm at in the novel, there is also very little happening from chapter to chapter. I'm still reading, hoping that the author will bring this somewhere good, but I'm also feeling that I may be wasting my time.

I'm putting this after Edit 2.0: I rate this a 5/5.

usually I dont go for gender bender stuff. But, well this one has a pretty interesting concept. Honestly I hope the two can develope their own independant consciousness so we can get a bit of a romance aspect in there. Now that would be interesting, hehe. I havent read it yet but from the synopsis im expecting a good read. And maybe its just me, but the tone of the synopsis seemed more from the male side. Maybe the... more>> male is dominant?

His male body looks cool by the way. Heh, that sword and jacket are pretty stylish no? Im assuming it was originally a male who woke up with a seperate female body. That is what its saying right?

Well, anyway, im expecting the novels to be interesting. I hope this is a serious translation instead of a teaser or side project. Well, im off to read. I may edit this later.

Edit: Okay I read a bit. Seriously why do they always make the MC look ordinary? I mean the girl body is descrbed as a beautiful goddess but the boy is normal looking? bullshit. Why, just why?

Its just that it gets annoying that they make the MC's male body ordinary. Dammit if you are gonna do that make the female plain too.

But thats probably just his opinion of himself I think. Though its still annoying. I mean from the cover the guy doesnt look ordinary. objectively speaking, isnt he pretty good looking? And im only complaining because its annoying to me by now. The whole ordinary, plain male MC thing. Also now im thinking that they were originally two people who were kidnapped and their consciousness was fused. Well, im probbably wrong. Havent even read the entire first chapter so... im not in a position to make assumptions like that.

Edit 2.0: Read 'em all now. this is pretty damn good I have to say. I dont expect many chapters of this, the guy has like three other projects. I dont know if he has a whole team, I am assuming he is doing them all by himself. If im correct in assuming that, then uless he gets help or something then I dont think this will be getting regular updatess. Shame since its pretty interesting andunique, in my opinion at least.

Well, the other translations he is doing are pretty unique too though.

P.S I dont like that knight guy. Unless he becomes best buds with the male MC. And he doesnt start having feelings for the female body. Although that might get interesting if he learns they are the same person, but still. Then I would like him. Maybe. <<less

An extremely interesting and unique story. The MC wakes up one day in a fantasy world without any memories. Pretty cliché right? Well in this story the author spices it up by doing something original. The MC isn't just one person as he wakes up to discover he, or she has two bodies controlled by one mind. A male youth Tyre and a young girl Lunaria. They have no idea who they are or why they share one mind, but before they can figure it out, through a misunderstanding, they... more>> get separated. And as a result rather than being together as a story where one person just happens to have another body to control like a tool, they end up living different lives with their own social circles. And I do thank the heavens Tyre isn't raping or getting turned on by his female half (Was worried for a while).

Tyre -
Spoiler

The male and more dominate half. After learning martial arts from a god (While rare they aren't so few that it's impossible to meet one) that can only be learned by someone with dual processing he becomes extremely strong despite having weak Qi as he hasn't cultivated yet and later its shown his cultivation speed is below average, so for now he is only relying on his frightening sword skills. And when I say strong he isn't god tier or close to it, but is strong enough to challenge and beat people above his cultivation level to a extent which is very impressive. Has no talent for magic, yet may possibly have some for dimensional magic. Also his body repels seals, so he is OP against seal masters.

[collapse]

Lunaria -
Spoiler

The less dominate half. The author goes back and fourth if she is just Tyre in a female body, or develops her own identity by living as a girl, but it mainly reads as seeing herself as male so far. Has the same talent with the sword as Tyre, but because of her lack of combat experience she developed slower than her male half. But unlike her male half she had OP potential for magic in all areas to varying degrees except dimensional magic, and so becomes a duel practioner. And as opposed to her male half she cultivates Qi much faster, to the point she worries the balance of the two bodies will break one day.

Its my personal opinion, but because there are things like Lunaria has the same talent for the sword, but falls behind Tyre due to a lack of combat experience even though they are said to have one mind, leads me to believe they both the same yet still individuals. If they were the same then so long as their isn't a physical or spiritual problem, like how Tyre isn't physically/spiritually compatible with magic, Lunaria should be just as skilled in the sword as Tyre even without fighting as much since she should have his/her combat experience. Lunaria even learned Tyre's sword skills from his memories, yet the combat experience didn't cross over. This leads to the conclusion while they share knowledgeable and memories, personal experience which form their own identity won't pass over.

The beginning of the novel is weak, and the misunderstandings are quite annoying, however, while there are hints of a dark undertone, the story is intended to be comedy. If you can enjoy it as comedy, then it's a 5 stars, after reading the reviews I was apprehensive about how the author dodged the concept of them being in the same body with a weird and silly misunderstanding, however, it actually makes sense, since if the bodies were together they would be like twins, and furthermore would get no special... more>> treatment. I would recommend reading it yourself for quite a few chapters to see if you enjoy this dynamic of one person being at the top of society and the other at the bottom, its 2000 or so chapters long in total, but chapters are quite short, and in my opinion it's worth reading for the realistic character relationships and world building, the cultivation while cliche is different, with the MC ignoring his cultivation, and not needing it.

As to why the MC doesn't clear up the claim that he was raping himself, he's probably worried he might get experimented on if he gives it away, and it's very risky to let Claude know it's the same guy, since he wanted to kill him. There is no actual need, and it would create questions for why Lunaria has amnesia, also the two are doing fine, they actually gain little benefit from joining up since they are the same person and will be able to do less things.

It might not be the best webnovel I've read, but it is enjoyable, and if its interesting through all 2000 chapters it's certainly worth your time. <<less

This has high translation quality, and does well to keep readers interested. The central premise of the story is curious, tut is only now starting to get explored in any depth. I am looking forward to more chapters soon!

It starts of... while by no means generic, not unique in its settings and feel. After a few chapters it devolves from its generic OP protag LN into a interesting world building novel.

Well worth a read.

The idea is great, with excellent potential, but implementatIon was horrible.

The MC (originaly male), gets transported into a new world and is now in control of two human bodies, a boy and a girl.

There’ s been a misunderstanding that MC (boy) tried to r*pe MC (girl), and the female body of the MC does nothing to correct everyone’s belief that his male body is a rapist.

I love the concept behind one mind and two bodies - it's really original and really only starts to shine later on. This was the main reason I kept reading the novel at the beginning.

I've noticed many people complain about how the author does not emphasize enough on this concept, which is just not true - it might look like it at the beginning, but trust me - it gets better. Unfortunately, I've very quickly reached the last translated chapter 52 in Volume 2 (at the moment of writing... more>> this review) and I'm really craving for more.

The beginning might be slow as everything is slowly building up and new characters get introduced and develop some basic relationships and share their backstories. You also get introduced to a lot of new terms (skill name, ranks, magic system,...). The volume 2 really took what volume 1 built up and just upgraded it.

If you like the concept and the fantasy setting (plus some comedy) - I would definitely recommend it. <<less

Most reviews are about b*tching because they don't understand that you don't need an original setup to make a good story, it's all in the execution, which in this case is good, the characters aren't 1 dimensional throwaways, they have different personalities, but to be honest, there's not much to comment about this novel, the chapters are fairly short and the first 70 chapters are about the male part trying to get back to the female part, they have their own lives in the meantime and there's plenty of action... more>> but it's mostly done for world building purposes. About the protagonist's power, it's balanced, just his talent is twice as good as most normal people, which isn't even that strong. <<less
